A Shit Storm can stand alone but for fans of Six Silver Strings Series, this novel includes scenes with characters from G-Strings and D-Strings with
several appearances of Jack and Marissa Storm.
★ ★ ★★★
My favorite in the Lisa Gillis Silver Strings Storm Series! Each book blows the previous away, and believe me, if you've read these, you won't think that's
possible. Tristan may be my favorite hero of this series. Not positive because it's that hard to choose! Okay, the lowdown. For anyone who is reading this as
their first in the series, warning, every other chapter features Jack and Marissa Loren (Tristan's parents) from the G-String Set in the Silver Strings
Series. Head spinning yet? For me, this was one of the things that endeared me to the book. First and foremost though, Tristan is a hot rocker hero as sweet
and caring, yet as fallible as his father! Sash took some warming up (and we never get her POV), but by a few chapters in I'd fallen for hear headstrong
attitude. A couple of major twists toward the end sorted my feelings out completely to pro Sash all the way.
To help any first time readers sort this series out, I've created a post just below this one on the full series.
For Lisa Gillis writing is a passion, and she strives to blend the perfect mixture of fantasy and reality into her books. While listening to music, the
little voices in her head become the characters in her novels, and each series, including Silver Strings, is infused with her love of music, bands and
When she’s not writing or making her own music on her guitar or drums, she’s catering to her spoiled, hyper and lovable chocolate lab, Bailey.
About four years ago on Wattpad I ran across rock stars. Rock stars in books! As much
as I love to read, and as much as I love music, I'd never seen the two together. I was hooked. Wanted more. But there were none to be found on Kindle.
Wattpad however, had rockstars everywhere.
One series quickly became my favorite, and I stalked the author everyday hoping for more chapters. This family of rockstars has skeletons in every closet and
spans four decades. The MC's are not always perfect like I found in so many other books--they had depth which made them even more memorable when the last
chapters were read. Some of this series is still on wattpad. It's the author's first draft and she's never taken it off. But there are even more published.
And I'm about to take you through them in the second installment of our Rockin' Romance journey.
D-Stringsis first chrolologically even though it wasn't published first. Strap into your time machine and get ready to go back to the 70's. Of course you
have a time machine. It's your kindle, ipad, paperback or whatever your favorite reader is.
They are friends in public, lovers in private. In an age of sex, drugs, rock and roll, they want it all. But 'all' is differently defined to everyone.
What happens when sexy drummer Matt Loren wants bandmate Jules Breaux as more than a bedroom plaything? Is her love more than a four letter word?
Rising Sun, Half Moon, and Rock Stars is a monster sized rock romance trilogy exposing the harsh realities of fame, the rivalry between siblings and
associates, and the reliability as well as surreal expectations of true love.
In RISING SUN, rebellious Jules Breaux doesn't know what to feel when the band she began as a hobby begins rising up in fame and ruining friendships.
Is this what she wanted after all? A life of sex, drugs, rock and roll? Which comes first, her priorities? Or those of Matt? The sexy drummer with whom she
has a very complicated relationship.
HALF MOON continues where Rising Sun left off. Is the band the glue that holds personal relationships together? Will love, family, and friendship
survive if the band begins to fall apart?
ROCK STARS: Once friends, once lovers, and once famous--they are soul mates, and time hasn't changed that. For Jules, rekindling that old sweet fire
means trading her quiet life for the rock and roll world from which she once ran. To Matt, his private desire to win back his true love becomes a public
JACK WHO? Jack Storm is more than a tour bus
bang. He's a secret to keep at all costs--except one.
Jack (what was his name again?) is not the average girl's revenge fling.
Women throw themselves at Jack, toss their lingerie on the stage,
and scream his name. Marissa has no idea of his public identity, and
while she doesn't initially throw herself at him, she does go on to toss
aside her lingerie and ultimately scream his name.
Five minutes after parting, she holds no illusions about seeing him again, but does vow a new outlook on her life and herself.
Five months later, Jack astounds her with an invitation to Los
Angeles. Although Jack is now a star in her very non rock star
fantasies, Marissa is concealing a huge secret that prevents her from
Five years later, the secret comes out, and despite the conflicting
emotions each feels toward the other, they must bridge their two worlds
WEATHERING JACK STORM Falling in love
with Jack was easy, but there is nothing easy about staying in love with this arrogant rock star while settling into a new life in Los Angeles.
To Marissa, her future seems as mysterious as dusk’s shimmering shadows beneath the surface of the luxurious guitar shaped pool. There is no doubt this could
be her dream house, her dream life with the man she loves. Not so dreamy is all she is beginning to see packaged with him.
The crazy hours of a very active life. The garbage behind the glam. Mostly, a moody and presumptuous rock star whose public persona is opposite of the sweet
celebrity she fell for.
SNOW STORMS It all begins with one
wrong wish on a star – a ROCK STAR.
Christmas is coming, and Jack Junior is not the only one with a wish list. The Jackal fan site once had a Holiday tradition of indulging five lucky fans with
a Christmas wish. This year, a fan manages to contact Jack with a very special wish.
A wish that unearths a scandal Jack tried to leave in his past.
To complicate matters, this Holiday Season, Marissa is hiding more than Christmas presents. For starters, her complicated relationship with Jack’s sister
reaches a new level of craziness. Also, simmering beneath a Christmas colored surface is a psycho situation she cannot see coming.
Strings. Lisa's best yet - and I didn't think it could get better - and this one isn't on wattpad...
A SHIT STORM Tristan Loren, son of former rock
star Jack Storm, is the first to admit he’s lived a privileged life.
However, the top schools, the best games, phones, and cars, the motocross track winding around the back acreage of his family home, and the finest of
whatever his heart desires has come with strangers yelling for his attention and camera flashes in his face. Even though his father retired the spotlight and
moved the family from L.A., their lives are rarely incognito.

That's the series so far, but in the description it says it will eventually have a set for each guitar string. By the way, props to her for the way she
handled E strings. it was a tricky one since there are two of those in normal tuning, but it all fell together in the book with one highlight worthy
